Energy Forecast for 2008 2007 is history, here is how crude oil and gas prices did in 2007:
January 1 December 31 % Change Crude Oil: $59.30 $96.50 +62% Gasoline: $2.29 $2.95 +29%
As you can see crude oil has increased significantly more than gasoline. We can expect gasoline prices to increase starting in spring to better reflect the cost of crude oil. Gas prices are predicted to increase to the $3.40 to $3.60 range by summer. This could increase to $4.00 a gallon, or more, if there are any disruptions in the current supply of crude oil to the US. Weather, political changes, capacities and accidents all play a role in prices for crude oil.
